Q. I have a dead tree in my yard – do I need to replace it?
A. No – the covenant that states that 2 trees must be in the front yard was for the builder at the time of the sale of the home. You are free to replace the tree, but you are not required to do so. The covenants state that dead trees must be removed. Click here to download a copy of the covenants.
Q. I have lights on my garage and a post light in the yard – are both required?
A. No – you are welcome to have both, but only one or the other is required. They are to be on dusk to dawn sensors. This is the only form of lighting in the neighborhood since we do not have street lights. Please make sure your lights are working.
Q. My mailbox is rusty/post is rotten – where do I get a new one?
A. You can get a FREE mailbox and/or post every 5 years if your dues are current. Just fill out this electronic form online or print out this paper form and mail it in.
Q. My trash bin is damaged or I need an additional trash bin – how do I get one?
A. Contact Republic Services (317) 917-7300. Be sure to tell them Berkley Grove – not just your address. BG takes care of trash collection fees so there should not be a charge for this. In addition to repairing/replacing trash bins, they also have extra recycling bins.
